Glitter Enhanced Makeup For Eyes and Lips

Add some sparkle to your face with the new glitter enhanced makeup that we can't get enough of. It might seem scary at first to have your eyes or lips shining and sparking like a jewel, but once you find your comfort zone, it will be like wearing makeup for the first time. Everything pops!  If you are an all natural kind of girl and only like natural hues on your skin then the thought of glittery blues and purples on your face might be an initial turn off. However, like the saying goes, don't knock it until you try it stands so true for this new makeup trend. Please do not age shame yourself by saying that you're too old for all that makeup. There are subtle ways to apply the shiniest of glitter. You can do a little or a lot and either way the result is gorgeous. The glitter eyeshadows, also known as foiled eyeshadows come in different textures; creamy, eyeliner stick, adhesive stickers or gel, packed and powder.  The lipstick can come with an applicator or on a normal stick. Do a practice run before you plan to wear the look. I suggest that you watch a few tutorials on Youtube and practice along with the video once you find a look or a similar look that you want to try. We love Maureen Naudts, a makeup artist that we discovered on Instagram. She knows how to apply the glitter makeup and take the illusion to another dimension. Makeup artist like Maureen tend to make the application look so easy. Its once you try it yourself, on yourself that you realize how hard it is. Getting the makeup on exactly the way that you want it shouldn't be too difficult. Most artist gie great details on the products used and how to apply them. You do not have to be as creative and skilled as Maureen in order to achieve a desirable look. You only need a steady hand, patience, practice and some guidance to get started.

Getting Started...

We suggest starting with the same color tones that you are currently most comfortable with wearing. Otherwise, the chances can be lower than a 50/50 outcome of your liking the initial results. We have seen a common reaction of initially not liking the bright vibrant colors.  If you normally wear a gold lower lid eyeshadow then you should find the  "Sparkle Leopard" in the Jumbo Eye Pencil by NYX a good transition.  This gold glitter comes out bright and beautiful. The eyeliner is an easy to use application that allows you a lot of control. The jumbo glitter stick results are very effective and is great for getting into your comfort zone. My other favorite color in the NYX jumbo pen is the cobalt blue.

Yass honey.. Once you have accomplished your desired look you will feel like you have made a break through. This makeup will make you find a place to go so that you can show up and show out. Book a photo shoot, call up some girlfriends..anything to be seen. Play around with the makeup and find your best look. It can take sometime to figure it out but it's well worth it.
